We fly over some of the most important castles and palaces in Hesse. The centuries-old walls are even more impressive from above. We get dizzyingly close to each individual tower. Completely hidden in the forest on the Eder slope: Hessenstein Castle, an old knight's castle with a great view. It gets aristocratic in Friedrichstein Castle high up in Bad Wildungen's old town. What is now magnificent baroque was once a Gothic castle and had belonged to the Counts of Waldeck since the 13th century. We learn about real castle lords and noble castle owners. And the photos are always fascinating, like those of Biebrich Castle in Wiesbaden and Münzenberg Castle in the Wetterau or the most beautiful baroque castle in Hesse in Eichenzell: Fasanerie Castle. But we also see fascinating pictures of the Kassel water features at Wilhelmshöhe Castle. Our tour ends at Sababurg, which is world-famous as the Brothers Grimm's fairytale castle, because it was here that they let Sleeping Beauty sleep. In “Hesse from Above” we learn about old walls and the stories that have taken place here over the centuries. Fly with us and experience Hessian palaces and castles in a whole new way. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ????Subscribe to our channel here so you don't miss any information from Hesse: https://1.ard.de/Kanal_abonnieren?p=yt ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ????You can find more current content from Hessischer Rundfunk here: https://1.ard.de/hr_in_der_ARD_Mediat... ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ????You can find current information on events in Hesse here: https://1.ard.de/hessenschau_de?p=yt ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ????You can find current information about events in Germany here: https://1.ard.de/tagesschau_de?p=yt ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ????You don't want to miss anything?
