Several people were arrested: intelligence agents, a civil servant of the presidency of the Republic and a niece of the First Lady of Cameroon. They have since been released. Two theories clash in this sulphurous affair. On one side, those who are convinced that there was never a false rear admiral and that Joseph Fouda himself was behind these acts of brigandage and the second who believes that the crooks simply usurped the identity and function of the special advisor to the President of the Republic without him having anything to do with it.
