After graduating from a vocational school, he worked in the editorial department of Stylesha's Danshi Senka magazine. In 1983, he became independent as a freelancer. As a stylist and fashion editor, he has worked on fashion magazines, advertisements, and costume production for entertainment and artists. In 1992, he established Hamish Limited Company. He became the representative director. In 1996, he opened "Ka'eL" in Harajuku, Tokyo. In parallel with his usual duties, he became known as a pioneer of stylist-driven select shops. The following year, he began selling original design clothing and expanded his business by wholesaling both domestically and internationally.
