The AGO took coercive measures against Hendry Lie at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang on Monday (11/18) at 22.30 WIB. Hendry Lie's escape began when he went to Singapore on March 25 on the pretext of seeking medical treatment. Before going to Singapore, Hendry had first undergone an examination as a witness in the corruption case of the tin commodity trade in the Mining Business License (IUP) area of ​​PT Timah Tbk for 2015-2022 on February 29. Two days after leaving for Singapore, Hendry was banned and his passport was revoked. Then on April 15, investigators named Hendry as a suspect. AGO investigators repeatedly summoned him, but Hendry always failed to show up. Director of Investigation of Jampidsus Kejagung, Abdul Qohar in a press statement on Tuesday (11/19) early morning revealed, Hendry decided to return to Indonesia because his passport will expire on November 27. The prosecutor's office then monitored Hendry's movements by involving several parties such as investigators, intelligence investigation teams, and representatives of the Singapore prosecutor's office. As a result, Hendry was detected returning home secretly on Monday (11/18) night. Hendry was then arrested at terminal 2F Soetta Airport, shortly after getting off the plane.
