The story of a young surgeon, Alexander, who is writing a dissertation and shows hope for a great medical career. But everything changes after a friend invites the surgeon to spend a vacation in the village. Having seen the local hospital, the doctor is convinced that the village is in great need of a good doctor. Rest fades into the background, and the surgeon devotes all his time to working in the hospital and helping people. Time passes, and Alexander begins to seriously think about staying in the village forever. The melodrama "Hello, Doctor!" was filmed by director Vasily Levin at the Odessa Film Studio in 1974.
