The situation in the Emilian Apennines is starting to become critical after the heavy snowfall that has been persisting in the same area since Saturday evening and is also affecting low altitudes, at just 200-300 meters. In Castelnovo ne' Monti there are significant accumulations, now over half a meter: the inhabitants are working to free their cars. Blackout between the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena: the heavy snow due to the rise in temperatures is causing trees to fall and cutting power cables.
