Health research with a focus on chronic diseases. Currently, public attention towards research for the treatment of acute diseases is high. The same cannot be said for chronic diseases. The chronicity of disease is perceived as specific to certain segments of the population: children with disabilities and the elderly. In reality today, according to the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, 18% of Italians between 18 and 69 years old have one or more chronic diseases. To respond to this situation, research and rehabilitation medicine are developing new paths that we will explore with the Don Gnocchi Foundation. In the second part, two focuses. One on atopic dermatitis, the other on the new role of the hospital and territorial pharmacist.
