Twelve years ago, Žilvinas Pranckevičius from Šakii, who will soon celebrate his 36th birthday, has been convicted 34 times - most of the crimes he committed while behind bars. Pranckevicius. - And I believe that I will succeed - my lawyer and I are seeking to have my prison sentence revised." Ž. Pranckevičius's name was also mentioned in the pre-trial investigation into fraud, which is currently being carried out by the police, when money was embezzled from the support fund of Vytautas Landsbergis, the first restored head of state of Lithuania, recognized by the Seimas. It was for this reason that he and other persons who regularly committed fraud in prisons were transferred to the Vilnius Correctional Institution - this was done in order to prevent new cases of fraud.
