Lukas Jucht (26) is class teacher for the first time this school year - he teaches a 4th grade class at the primary school in Treuchtlingen. It is his first class of his own after his traineeship or preparatory service. This leads to a number of challenges: for example, he does not yet have access to a large collection of work materials and never knows in advance how the children will cope with his worksheets. Lukas looks after 25 children, which means a lot of responsibility for him and sometimes stress. It is important to him to be there for all the children and to listen to them. In addition to his 28 teaching hours per week, he spends around two hours a day preparing lessons or correcting rehearsals and homework - including at weekends. This means Lukas works around 42 hours a week. In his free time, he makes sure to clear his head. For example, he plays the guitar and plays badminton in a club once a week. --- This is "Is it worth it?": One person, one job, one life. And at the end of the day, the question is: Is it worth it? We accompany people in their careers and show their lives. Is it worth it to work for a salary and use it to finance your own life? What makes me happy about work? We don't just compare salaries, we show how people live from their work. We are always looking for protagonists: If you also want to show how you live with your job, you are welcome to write to [email protected]! On a personal note: We are not infallible either - and although we make every effort to present every individual financial situation clearly, correctly and understandably, we sometimes need help. The Bavarian State Association of Tax Advisors and Auditors always provides us with competent support in this - thank you very much for that!
