In an atypical prison, the inmates prepare their own meals, which are then distributed in crates to the different buildings. Among the inmates, Rachid, a man convicted of drug trafficking, has experienced many incarcerations. For him, this prison is one of the best he has been in. Working as an auxiliary, he receives a visit from the lawyer to prepare for his conditional release. He must justify his good behavior, his work and his accommodation outside. But doubts persist about his project. Despite his desire to reintegrate, his request is ultimately refused on appeal. Rachid will continue to serve his sentence until his release in a year.
