Salko Sarajčić from Novo Travnik has been engaged in forest felling for years. At first he worked with his horses, but as the machines pushed the horses into retirement, Salko decided to be a woodcutter and an excellent master of his craft, cutting down between 600 and 900 cubic meters of wood per month. Of course, he is well rewarded for his work, so his salary is between 3 and 5 thousand euros. He certainly wouldn't earn that much even in Germany, and here it is near his home. Salko says it's not easy to earn that much money, but age and experience take their toll. Felling a tree and cutting branches with this woodcutter is measured in minutes.
