However, after the decision from the Supreme Court, the KPU did not want to implement the decision. Therefore, Hasto explained Setyo asked for a Fatwa from the Supreme Court. In addition, Hasto also tried to get Riezky to resign to be replaced by Masiku, but the effort was rejected. Hasto also ordered Saeful Bahri, another suspect to meet Riezky in Singapore and ask to resign. However, this was also rejected.
