A documentary that redraws the life of the Sudanese thinker Hassan Al-Turabi, from two main perspectives: the thinker sheikh and the seasoned politician. In each corner, we narrate Al-Turabi's influence, contributions and personal experiences, focusing on his intellectual project to reveal his intellectual structure and how he formulated it. From a political perspective, we will see the most important historical turning points that Sudan went through, and the extent of Al-Turabi's influence on them will be revealed, as well as how he was able to manage, follow up and deal with them. We approach Al-Turabi's private life, enter his home and see him with his children, and be close to his human side in his daily dealings and public life. We learn about his vision, what he was planning and his executive procedures to achieve those visions. The film will reveal one aspect, including the organization that Al-Turabi founded, and his thought that was able to penetrate and infiltrate the security and military institutions. The film will combine Al-Turabi's story from two dimensions: the Arab and Islamic and the Sudanese dimension. We will see him as a thinker, scholar and influencer on the experiences of Islamic movements at times, and we will see him as a politician who runs a state, engineers a military coup and leads a political movement in Sudan. The film will preserve Al-Turabi’s presence as a living character through his speeches and interviews, and through representative shots of Al-Turabi in the places of his life, from his bedroom, to his small office, to his prayer rug, to his living room where he meets his followers, to his writings and publications in his private library and his readings, to highlight the character of Al-Turabi as a human being, politician and thinker. These shots will be distributed throughout the two parts of the film.
