We will not be taking any trains that pass through stations like the Hayabusa, Nozomi, or Mizuho, but only trains that stop at all stations like the Tsubame, Kodama, and Yamabiko. We will be taking a tough and butt-wrenching journey from Kashima Chuo Station, the southernmost point of Kyushu, to Hakata on the Kyushu Shinkansen, then to Shin-Osaka on the Sanyo Shinkansen, to Tokyo on the Tokaido Shinkansen, and to Shin-Aomori on the Tohoku Shinkansen, before heading to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station, the northernmost point of the Hokkaido Shinkansen! We will be overtaken by trains that pass by dozens of times on the way, but how many times will we be overtaken? And how long will it take?
