The name Pan America itself evokes a sense of majesty, because it is the longest road in the world. It is about 30,000 km long and connects Alaska with Tierra del Fuego, or both poles of the globe, so to speak. It passes through mountains, deserts and jungles. And Harley-Davidson named its first touring enduro after it. When Harley-Davidson came up with the concept of adventure, I thought that they simply had no choice and that it would be a virtue out of necessity. That they would bring a bike that they could put in front of the showroom and say: look, we have adventure too.
