The emergency services raise the alarm! Imagine calling 112 in an emergency and no one comes! The emergency services are at their limit because the lifesavers are completely overwhelmed - also because of many false alarms that do not require an ambulance. An exclusive analysis by the Integrated Control Center of the Munich Fire Department for PULS Reportage shows that in 2022 a third of the rescue missions were only "assistance": instead of saving lives, the emergency services only had to advise or help up after a fall, for example. The Bavarian Red Cross goes even further at our request: According to the BRK, around 70% of missions are false alarms! PULS reporter Nadine Hadad accompanies emergency paramedic Fabian Wolf and paramedic Christine Brembeck for a day as an intern in their work in the emergency services.
