Hauling is a method of transporting timber by horse over steep terrain, where the logs were chained together in long chains. This method of driving timber was discontinued in the 1950s, when it was no longer common to bark and "auge" the timber. The film "Hankejøring fra Vestre Gausdal" from 1967 was produced by the Norwegian Forestry Museum. Photo and direction: Kjell Søgard. Manuscript: Tore Fossum
