The film tells the story of a village teacher who lives alone without his family. He was known in his village for his good manners, love of goodness and knowledge. One day, they met a girl in the hazelnut field where her friend worked and he liked her. However, the owner of the land, the Aga's son, also liked the girl. The village teacher went with the Mukhtar to propose to the girl, and her father agreed. However, the news that the teacher was going to the military postponed the engagement until after he finished his service.
