The spring market takes place every year over Easter in Haithabu in northern Germany on the open-air grounds of the Viking Museum. Hundreds of the best craftsmen and traders in Haithabu still gather on what was once a historically important trading place during the Viking Age to trade all kinds of goods and showcase their skills. You quickly feel as if you have been transported back to this bygone era. The museum is open from spring to autumn and a visit is always worthwhile.
