Conversion of a HAG H0 railcar BDe 4/4 (SBB with graffiti) from DC to AC with LokPilot 5 In this video I show you step by step how I convert a HAG H0 railcar (BDe 4/4 of the SBB with graffiti) from direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). I use a #LokPilot 5 decoder from ESU. In addition to the pure conversion, I give you useful tips and explain all the important steps in detail. The lighting of the railcar is being extensively modernized: I show the installation of the Swiss train tail lighting and add a highlight by switching to two red tail lights. The interior lighting is also given a realistic neon tube effect. BDe 4/4 railcar of the SBB: The BDe 4/4 is a versatile railcar that was used by the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) for regional and commuter traffic. With an output of 660 kW and a top speed of 110 km/h, it was ideal for medium distances. The vehicle impresses with its modular design and was produced in different versions to meet different requirements.
