In this video we review BRCGS Food clause 2.12.3, which focuses on validation and verification within HACCP principle 6. We explain the importance of reviewing the HACCP plan and prerequisite programs at least once a year or whenever there are relevant changes, to ensure that the food safety system is kept up to date and protects the consumer. We will look at who is responsible, what needs to be reviewed, when to do it, and how to document the adjustments needed to meet this key requirement.
