Hello model railroaders or non-model railroaders, today I'm going to show you how I make my trees. This video is specifically about birch trees. What makes it even more difficult is that the birch trees have to be quite small so that I don't ruin the perspective on my small layout (sloping backwards and getting smaller). In principle, the birch trees shown in the video would be just right for Z gauge. I stumbled across the topic of "building trees" for model railroading almost 2 years ago. Fascinated by it, I decided to take a look at the topic. I've watched countless videos and read construction reports on the subject and of course also received advice from model railroading colleagues who have been making trees for a long time. After many, many failed attempts, I think I've now produced some pretty nice trees. Of course, it can all be done much, much more delicately, but I wanted a method to be able to get to it with the vacuum cleaner at some point without deforming the branches. But see for yourself… Regards Frank
