Tomáš Šebek is a doctor, surgeon and multiple participant in missions of the organization Doctors Without Borders, which helps developing countries during wars, natural disasters and epidemics. We talked with Tomáš (of course) about clothes, not only his own, but also about the customs and traditions in the field of clothing in the countries he visited. We also learned why Tomáš does not like white coats, why he prefers to visit his patients in civilian clothes and allows unlimited family visits. In addition, we discussed the missions themselves, the work of Doctors Without Borders and Tomáš's experiences - both good and sad. We discussed what it is like to operate when bullets are flying behind you, how to stand up to the fact that a patient is on the side of terrorists, or how Tomáš felt when an eight-year-old boy pointed a loaded machine gun at him. But we also talked about the Czech Republic and his work as a doctor, about Czech patients and the relationships between Czech doctors and colleagues. And we also got a secret tip from Tomáš on how to maintain physical and mental health.
