The way is clear for a new political beginning. Impulses for more growth are urgently sought. The new elections in February 2025 offer the opportunity to make Germany fit for the future - provided the economy and society are ready for change. Proposals for tackling this are on the table, e.g. for reducing bureaucracy, tax reform, more participation in the labour market or shaping energy and climate policy. This must be combined with a vision of the future. Can narratives play a role in overcoming the forces of inertia? Which would be suitable to help free Germany from the crisis? What could a future vision for the positive development of prosperity in Germany look like?
