A sand garden by the sea - Grit Kaysa guides you through a special project in her garden in time-lapse. What could be more natural by the sea than using sand in the garden...? No - it's not about a beach... In Grit Kaysa's garden by the sea, a large part of the lawn was transformed into a drought-tolerant and insect-friendly sand bed. This special project was completed at the end of 2021. Grit Kaysa documented the procedure and the entire implementation process in time-lapse. The special thing about this garden area is the planting of perennials and grasses in pure screed sand. Surrounded by large boulders, the sand area is modeled at different heights. A water-bound path surface frames the bed and invites you to stroll along it every day. I have attached a small list of the most important plants. Have fun!
