We must state that the legal requirements for adapted game densities are not met everywhere. Forests in a climate of climate change are the greatest challenge since the advent of regulated forestry. We can therefore strongly recommend that all forest owners use all options available under hunting law: in order to achieve forestry objectives and thus do justice to future generations. Hunting on your own initiative is an exciting, challenging and increasingly discussed and practiced alternative to classic leasing. This also applies to municipal forests.
