Impressions from the Great Mining Parade in Aue in the Ore Mountains on December 1st, 2024. Compliments to the large district town of Aue-Bad Schlema for a successful event. So many participants in the Great Mining Parade 2024 - especially the many musicians - are really impressive and certainly a logistical challenge. A special highlight was of course the closing concert with the Saxony State Mining Music Corps on the Altmarkt, among others - pure goosebumps. Many thanks for that and we also hope that our traditions - as urged by the 1st Chairman of the Saxon State Association of Miners, Ironworks and Miners' Associations, Ray Lätzsch - will be preserved in the future.
