Ganda Fadiga is a Guésséré Soninké of Malian nationality, born in 1949 in the village of Maréna Diombokho (Kayes region), died on September 19, 2009 in Paris. At the age of 14-15, he went to learn gambaré with the griot Diadia Sira, who was also the teacher of his father Demba Fadiga. The nickname he gave himself "Guésséré internationalized of gambaré" well reflects the trajectory of this virtuoso of melody; over the years he has become a singer of Soninké culture. He has traveled the four corners of the world with his gambaré to awaken the Soninkés of the diaspora. Ganda himself describes himself as a Soninké before being Malian. He lived a happy childhood with his friend Sekou Diakite. Ganda Fadiga addresses several themes in his productions focused on bravery, courage and humility.
