The comedy takes place in an elite village located twenty kilometers from the city of Chugunsk. According to the idea of ​​the construction company, the village was supposed to become a local "Rublevka". But the crisis hit, and the company went bankrupt, having managed to build only two cottages. It was these two cottages in the wilderness that our heroes were "lucky" to acquire: the Russian Polevy family and the American Shankly family. Thus begins the funny and difficult relationship between two different families and different mentalities. For the Polevys, the Shanklys are stupid, fat "Americans." For the Shanklys, the Polevys, like all Russians, are wild, drunken communists. Everyday disputes are like the Cold War. The role of "weapons of deterrence" is played by the communications necessary in everyday life: on the territory of the Polevykh plot there is a valve of the common water supply, on the territory of Shankly - a common electric switch. Every time during the aggravation of neighborly relations, the family is threatened to use their "weapon", but every time common sense wins ...
