While investigating the case of the disappearance of the son of the former head of the criminal investigation department, Degtyarev, Jackson detains a possible suspect - the owner of the car in which the kidnapped young man was forcibly taken. In the car of the alleged kidnapper, Jackson finds a bag stuffed to the brim with money in a bank package, stolen during the latest in a series of robberies and murders of cash collectors. The detained Ivchenko refuses to communicate with Khmeleva, who is leading his case, but Jackson knows that this bandit remains the only thread connecting both cases - the kidnapping of Degtyarev and the armed robberies of bank armored cars.
