Known for its vibrant mix of culture, history and modernity, Las Palmas offers everything from urban beaches to colonial architecture. 🏖️🏙️ We headed to some of the island’s most impressive viewpoints, including Pico de las Nieves, the highest point in Gran Canaria at almost 2,000 meters above sea level. From there, the views are simply breathtaking, with landscapes ranging from the mountains to the ocean. 🌄 In the Guayadeque Valley, we had lunch at a unique restaurant built directly into the rocks. This place is not just a restaurant, but a true cultural experience, reflecting the island’s ancient traditions. 🍽️⛰️ We also explored some of the island’s most charming beaches, such as the charming Playa de Mogán, known for its picturesque village and peaceful atmosphere. We passed by the famous Playa de Amadores, with its crystal-clear waters and excellent infrastructure. 🌊🏖️ And of course, we couldn't miss the iconic Maspalomas Dunes, one of the most impressive settings on the island, which transports us to a true desert by the sea. 🏜️ To end our trip on a high note, we passed through the village of Agaete, with its charming little port, where we took the ferry boat to the island of Tenerife.
