Hello everyone! Today, I am following up on the video of the corn harvest part 1. In this video I show you the plodder to grind wet grain into a sausage as well as the drying of grain. We first meet with ETA GUICHERD to make a wet corn sausage. I explain how the machine works, how the grain is reduced to flour and pressed into the sausage. Secondly, we go to my former supervisor to talk to you about drying grain, as I do every year. I quickly explain to you again how the dryer works, I also take 2 humidity samples to know the humidity at the exit of the dryer, to know if it is properly adjusted. I also explain a few things about the equipment stored in the yard, in particular the 10-row Capello picker which is not made the same as the Dominoni in terms of training. Drying is something that fascinates me and that I will learn from day to day, that's why I like to come every year to talk about it on video. Almost at the end of the video, I tell you about the use of corn that is made in our country, mainly to feed livestock. The Agrotrade cooperative for which my supervisor works sells almost all of the corn in Italy (bioplastic sector or animal feed).
