This is a video of the arcade version of Gradius IV (equipped with the 3rd gear). It is a playthrough from the start of the second round to the completion of the second round. Although I played it a lot when it was first released, I have completely forgotten the pattern, so please forgive me if it is "messy" in some places. You equip options immediately at the start, but in Gradius IV, the gauge from when you cleared the previous round is carried over to the next round, so you can do the same thing by aligning the first round with the option gauge. The location where the option hunter appears from the second round onwards is determined by the location where the first option is equipped, so opening equipment is essential for stability. Please use it as a reference if you like. The video is captured from the board via Frame Meister. The entire video is uncut. Due to the capture specifications, there is a delay in the sound, so this correction and image processing are only performed. Thank you.
