A film ballad based on the short story of the same name by K. Przerwa Tetmajer. Slovak Republic, 1964. This small work stands at the beginning of Martin Ťapák's extensive film and television work. The director chose a short story by the representative of Polish modernism KP Tretmajer for his debut. The prose writer was inspired by the life of the highlander population in Orava, a life connected with beautiful, but harsh nature, rich in emotional expressions of folk culture. Against this background, the story of the unfulfilled love of a young musician for a bewitchingly beautiful girl unfolds. Director: Martin Ťapák Cast: Heda Melicherová, Jozef Majerčík, Ivan Mistrík, Žofia Ševčíková, Beta Poničanová (text from www.stv.sk)
