In this video I show the conversion of a Golf 2 speedometer and switch to LED lighting, as the original bulbs lose a lot of brightness over time. The LEDs used are WS2812b or SK6812, which can be controlled individually using just one data line. The brightness control potentiometer can be used to switch between different color modes. The whole thing is controlled by an Arduino Nano V3. This is supplied with voltage when the parking lights are switched on and is also switched on.
