Malta is known for cliffs and rocky beaches, but there are still a few sandy beaches. Golden Bay is one of them and, as we have heard, the most beautiful. The water in the bay is said to be particularly shallow and free of waves, and there is also a beautiful sunset. We wanted to see it for ourselves and went to the beach on a sunny winter day in January.
