Ceará has some beautiful beaches with good hotel infrastructure, which are less popular but are good options for those who want to see alternative tourist attractions or enjoy a romantic trip surrounded by nature and with more tranquility. CE-040 (Av. Washington Soares) is the main access to the beaches on the state's eastern coast, such as Presídio, Iguape, Caponga, Morro Branco, Majorlândia and Canoa Quebrada. In this video, we stopped at the town square in Parajuru, where we had breakfast and then went to see the town's beach. Parajuru is a district of Beberibe that is located on the eastern coast of Ceará, 120 km from the city of Fortaleza and 42 km from its headquarters, Beberibe. The population of Parajuru is estimated at approximately six thousand inhabitants. It is known for its lobster fishing, beautiful, peaceful beaches, and a pleasant tourist destination. The name Parajuru is an indigenous name that means mouth of the river, where you can see the beautiful meeting of the river with the sea. Some time ago, tourism in Parajuru was not so frequent, receiving few visitors during the year. It was mostly families who came during times such as Carnival and other holidays. However, in the last three years, tourism has been growing relatively. Leaving Pajuru, we continued on to Fortim, another city in the state of Ceará, located between the popular beaches of Morro Branco and Canoa Quebrada. The city of Fortim, approximately 134 km from Fortaleza, is not normally included in the tourist itinerary of those who visit Ceará. What a shame! Do you know why? Its beaches – Pontal de Maceió, Canto da Barra and das Agulhas – reserve a few kilometers of almost untouched coastline, which surprises those who arrive there. Located at the mouth of the Jaguaribe River, right on the corner with the Atlantic Ocean, Canto da Barra beach is a paradise still unknown to most tourists who visit that area. The flat water, the constant wind and the vastness of its sandbar form a beautiful landscape, also resulting in one of the best spots in Brazil for kitesurfing.
