Hello everyone! In this video, we explore an innovative dairy farm located near Colonia de Sacramento, Uruguay. Join me as we discover how advanced technology and sustainable practices are revolutionizing milk production at this amazing farm! • 📍 Location: Colonia de Sacramento, Uruguay • 🐄 Capacity: Over 300 producing cows in a modern milking parlor with 15 organs • 🥛 Milking System: We milk three times a day to maintain efficient, high-quality production • 🌾 Feed: Carefully balanced diet including corn silage, soybeans, and other essential nutrients • 🍼 Calf Rearing: Innovative Milk Taxi system for feeding calves milk or milk replacer. The farm’s daily milk production is 38.5 liters per cow and 32.6 liters per heifer. Considering there are 220 cows and 60 heifers on the farm: Daily production of the cows: 38.5 liters/cow × 220 cows = 8,470 liters Daily production of the heifers: 32.6 liters/heifer × 60 heifers = 1,956 liters The total daily milk production of the farm is the sum of the two productions: 8,470 liters + 1,956 liters = 10,426 liters The daily milk production of the farm is approximately 10,426 liters. 📌 Important links: Online course: https://es.santafeagroinstituto.com/m...
