Based on the surprising finding that fructose reacts positively in the Fehling test, the video explains how ketosis becomes aldose and vice versa. This involves a metastable compound that is both an alkene and an alcohol - an enol. Hence the cumbersome name of the reaction: keto-enol tautomerism.
