Ania and Maciek reach Gliwice – a city that, with extraordinary consistency dating back to the end of the 19th century, implements the concept of an “ideal city”, skillfully combining urbanized spaces with precisely organized green areas. A visit to Gliwice also becomes an opportunity to learn about unusual city initiatives – an ultra-modern and friendly city library, music classes for the youngest (0-6 years old) developed by Prof. Edwin Gordon and implemented by the Gliwice Musical Theater, or the long-standing campaign of the Amok Cinema, where you can watch live broadcasts of performances by the New York Metropolitan Opera and the Bolshoi Theater. During their walk around Gliwice, Ania and Maciek have the opportunity to participate in an unusual Retro Picnic and the Gliwice Days of Cultural Heritage, implemented by, among others, the Museum in Gliwice. They end their journey by watching Carmen on the stage of the burnt-down Victoria Theater and performances as part of the Early Music Festival.
