The poor childhood years, the presence, but mainly the decisive absence of his father, the rebbe Lukas Darala, the relationship with Sultana's mother and the separation with his brother Christos who left for Switzerland. Giorgos Dalaras remembers his years working as a day laborer, in construction and in the machine shop, but also the opportunity that Makis Matsas gave him in the late 60's for his first recording, the one that eventually became the ticket for a great career that is valued today to 89 albums and 18 million sales. His career was built mainly on unique meetings, innovative concerts and iconic collaborations with Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Loizos, Apostolos Kaldara, Yiannis Markopoulos, Stavros Kouyoumtzis and countless other important creators. The performer still talks about the imprint that Stelios Kazantzidis and Grigotis Bithikotsis left deep inside him, but also about the sanctity with which he chose to perceive, approach and surround his art. He explains why an artist must take a stand against social demands, recalls his historic concerts for Cyprus and comments on music creation in Greece today. However, he also goes into more personal stories, such as his relationship with the woman of his life, Anna, without whom, he says, he would be someone else. Actor and director Giorgos Kimoulis, songwriter Miltos Paschalidis and lyricist Lina Nikolakopoulou tell a story about George Dalaras, their relationship, their collaborations and what he means and signifies for Greek music. Yiannis Zouganelis, in his surprising and improvisational way, intervenes in the show with a song specially written for the great Greek artist.
