He was born in Piraeus. The first music of his memory is closely linked with the basic forms of Greek music, the folk, the rebetiko and the elementary. His father, uncles and grandfather were musicians of the folk and folk tradition. In 1965, at the age of 15, he made his first public appearance as a guitarist and singer, while three years later, he recorded his first album. To date, he has recorded more than 85 personal records, where he participated in the recording of more than 140 as a performer, musician and producer, thus expressing a large part of the musicians of the search. Since 1968, his name has been associated with great songs and important collaborations. The greatest Greek composers met with him during his musical journey. Stavros Kougioumtzis, Mavos Loizos, Apostolos Kaldaras, Lefteris Papadopoulos, Mavos Eleftheriou, Mikis Theodorakis, Yavvis Markopoulos, Yavvis Spavos, folk composers Xristos Nikolopoulos, Vangelis Korakaki and Akis Pavou, Stavros Xarchakos, Thanos Mikroutsikos , Kostas Tripolitis, Elevi Karaidrou, were some of the great creators who entrusted him with their songs and he "traveled" them to people's souls.
