In today's episode, I have with me someone who is a professional at making people laugh, even in the most ridiculous moments. Actor and comedian Gilmário Vemba. Gilmário began his career before the age of 16 in a theater in Angola because he felt alone. Who would have thought that this would lead him to discover stand up comedy. Although he says that, since always, humor is not just his characteristic, but that it runs in the family. In Portugal, he participated in several humorous TVI programs, such as 'Roast: Castelo Branco' or 'Roast: Ljubomir' and later, in 'TaskMaster', on RTP1, as well as in 'Betclic Mano a Mano', on TVI. He participated as an actor in the soap opera 'Rua das Flores' and was present on the morning program on Rádio Comercial. He has also performed several shows under his own name, having performed his biggest show at the Altice Arena at the beginning of this month. Gilmário says that in Angola he is a kind of Cristiano Ronaldo of humor, and therefore, this is the path he also wants to take in Portugal. In a lively and relaxed conversation, he told more about his experience and how stand up comedy came into his life, as well as the importance he has since realized it has in people's lives.
