Located on the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, Gibraltar is a British overseas territory that attracts tourists with its unique cultural mix, rich history and spectacular views. Gibraltar's attractions are so diverse that everyone will definitely find something for themselves. Gibraltar can be visited during a one-day trip or you can come here for a longer stay, e.g. during a holiday in southern Spain. Visiting Gibraltar is an unforgettable adventure. Visitors can admire panoramic views from the top of the Rock of Gibraltar, which rises to a height of 426 meters above sea level. The rock is home to the famous Barbary macaques, which are the only wild monkeys in Europe. These cute animals are one of the main attractions in Gibraltar and often become unofficial guides to the nature reserve. They are a symbol of the region and are happy to pose for photos with tourists. For those who prefer something more modern, the Gibraltar Skywalk is a glass-enclosed viewing platform that offers spectacular views of three countries on two continents. Exploring Gibraltar also includes strolling along Main Street, the heart of Gibraltar’s shopping, where you can find shops selling everything from local souvenirs to luxury goods. Additionally, Gibraltar has a range of museums and galleries that showcase both local heritage and contemporary art.
