CHRISTY ORMEÑO CHÁVEZ and ROBERT RICHTER are a married couple and owners of a PERUVIAN CUISINE restaurant called QUINA in the CITY OF VALENCIA. Their philosophy: A CONSCIOUS Peruvian cuisine. Christy is a PERUVIAN who MIGRATED to GERMANY at a very young age with the DREAM of taking her sisters with her, thinking of a better FUTURE for the three of them. By chance, she met Robert, a German who always had the dream of being a chef in his own restaurant. They met on Hi5 and a few weeks later they did it in person. It was a love at first sight that has grown like its own story. Robert, who knew nothing about Peruvian gastronomy, fell in love with PERU AND its FLAVORS. After a first trip on their honeymoon, the couple decided to live for a while in PERU where they both managed to SPECIALIZE in cooking and find the GASTRONOMIC PHILOSOPHY they wanted for their own restaurant. QUINA is the ACHIEVEMENT they have achieved WORKING TOGETHER and which they now manage in the CITY of VALENCIA in SPAIN. Their EXPERIENCE gained working with PALMIRO OCAMPO, one of the most important CHEFs in Peru, and a short stint at RESTAURANTE CENTRAL, shaped that idea of ​​CONSCIOUS CUISINE that they have developed today.
