Our last day of sightseeing on the German Baltic coast is dedicated to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula, west of Rügen, which originally consisted of three island cores that were joined together over time by natural silting or bridges. Here we visit the seaside resorts of Zingst and Ahrenshoop, visit the famous sailors' church in Prerow and admire the pretty villas in Born. Finally, the Hanseatic city of Stralsund with St. Mary's Church, town hall and the UNESCO-protected old town is on our visit program.
