About :

The Geislinger Steige is a steep stretch of track on the Stuttgart-Munich railway line. Heavy freight trains cannot travel up the hill with just one locomotive. Therefore, from Geislingen West, a locomotive pushes the train from behind. In Amstetten, the locomotive leaves the train again. This used to be the job of the famous E94. In 2018, the vintage 151 series locomotives pushed the train.
