Gassan looked like it would be good weather on the weekend. I left after Saturday evening and arrived at Ubazawa parking lot after 10pm. (The starry sky from the parking lot was very beautiful) I made a bed inside the Sienta and slept. The temperature in the middle of the night was below 10 degrees inside the car and it was very cold. I tried sleeping with a blanket and thick clothes, but I couldn't stand the cold. I had a sleeping bag, but I thought it wouldn't be that cold and I would be fine without it. Well, I've experienced this before, so I'm not surprised, but this time I'll answer my body that's just recovered from an illness. I got up at 5am the next morning, got ready, and set off. Mt. Gassan is a wonderful mountain no matter how many times I visit it. It showed me beautiful scenery. During the climb, I had the happy encounter of meeting Mr. Hikiji, who came from Fukushima and watches my videos. I'm grateful to the viewers who watch this video of an old man like me. He said it was okay for me to show my face, so I cooperated with filming in the second half of the video. Thank you very much. Anyway, I'm glad I was able to safely reach the summits of Mt. Gassan and Mt. Ubagatake. No matter how many times I visit, Mt. Gassan is truly a wonderful mountain. Thank you very much.
