Read before you start working!!! In the video above I present how to clean gas injectors. Why do this? In my case, the car would stall when switching to gas in very cold weather. It would also stall very often on the way to intersections - only on gas. The problem did not occur on petrol. I also cleaned the throttle valve and stepper motor. After cleaning the rail and injectors, the above problems definitely disappeared. First of all, I would like to point out that if you undertake such a repair, you do so, unfortunately, at your own risk. If you do not feel up to performing this type of maintenance, go to a gas installation service. I performed the maintenance on the gas installation installed in a Honda Civic VI, at a temperature of -5 degrees, which is why, among other things, removing the rubber hoses turned out to be a clear problem. This was the first cleaning of the rail since the installation (March 2013). Before starting work, in a manner known to you, mark the order of the wires going to the coils. After dismantling the blocks and rubber lines, dismantle the coils and unscrew the injectors. Blow the rail with compressed air. IMPORTANT! Before throwing the injectors into the white spirit, remove the rubber seals, as they may swell. I did not remove the orange seals in the film, but after waiting a few minutes, I managed to put it back in. When screwing the injectors to the rail, be careful not to damage the seals. If you look closely at the injector hole, you will see that there is a rim/widening in front of the thread, where the seal must fit. Due to slight damage to the edges of the rubber lines during their removal, I decided to cut them by approx. 3 - 5 mm. After performing maintenance and correctly installing the rail, start the engine. Spray the rubber line connections with windshield washer fluid. Look out for bubbles after switching the car to gas. If there are any, correct the connection. After properly performed maintenance, you should enjoy smooth switching from cold to gas, no or minimal jerking and supposedly lower fuel consumption. I would like to point out that this is a simple guide that will not replace a visit to a diagnostician, because without the appropriate experience you will not be able to assess the wear of the elements that should be replaced instead of cleaned. Nevertheless, if you have unworn injectors, the above actions will definitely improve the quality of their operation. PS Someone will probably bring up the subject of adjusting the injectors with a special device. I will not comment. I simply tightened them to the appropriate resistance in my opinion. Everything works. I also did not perform any calibration or reset the computer. I encourage you to watch and comment. Best regards!
