This is a retro game introduction/play-by-play commentary video by Sawarabitarumi. I'd like to introduce/explain KOEI's historical simulation game Xiang Liu Ji, released in 1993 (SFC version released in 1994), while giving a play-by-play commentary. This is the first part. Although it was inevitable due to the nature of the subject matter, this game was not well received due to the limited playable options (only Xiang Yu or Liu Bang as rulers, 4 scenarios), but I (my father) was quite addicted to it and played it. For a game of the time, the historical setting was carefully incorporated into the game (the importance of diplomacy and supplies, and Xiang Yu's ridiculous strength), which was quite moving to play.
